Honest take: Searchanise
Who it suits. Most small and mid catalogs. You pay by product count only, with unlimited searches, so a traffic spike or Black Friday does not raise the bill. On our numbers that is $19 small, $39 medium and $139 large.
Who overpays, and why. Stores under 25 products, which get it free anyway, and stores that only need filters, synonyms and boosts, which Shopify Search & Discovery does for $0.
Gotchas.
- The tiers jump with catalog size: 7,501 products moves you from $39 to $89.
- Bigger plans add support hours and a dedicated server, not better core search, so do not upgrade for features.
- Annual billing saves up to 17%, so the monthly figures here are the higher ones.

No per-search or per-session fees. You pay a flat monthly price set by how many active, searchable products you have (Free up to 25, then 1.5k, 7.5k, 15k, 30k, 50k and 300k product tiers). Personalized AI search is included on every paid plan.
