2026-10-26: Weekly re-check: Helpcenter and Fast Simon changed prices
- SB Helpdesk (Helpcenter) repriced on the Shopify App Store. The $5.99 Basic plan is gone. Standard went from $19.99 (300 tickets) to $40 (500 tickets, then $0.15/ticket). Advanced went from $49.99 to $70 (1,000 tickets, overage up from $0.10 to $0.12). A new Enterprise plan is $120 for 2,000 tickets, then $0.10/ticket.
- Helpcenter estimates: small store $19.99 to $40, medium $49.99 to $70, large $349.99 to $320 (the new Enterprise plan is cheaper at 4,000 tickets than the old Advanced plan plus overage).
- Fast Simon raised its Essential plan (10,000 monthly sessions) from $99.99 to $114.99 a month ($999.96 to $1,149.96 a year). Starter ($39.99) and Top Pro ($299.99) didn't change. Our small-store estimate moves from $99.99 to $114.99.
- Everything else matched last week: we re-read the pricing pages for all 13 support apps and all 11 search & recommendation apps. Boost and Rebuy still show 'not currently available' on the Shopify App Store from our location, and LimeSpot still advertises 50% off for life for new sign-ups (we show list prices). Wiser's App Store listing moved to apps.shopify.com/recommended-products-wiser.
2026-10-19: LimeSpot: full Turbo order tiers added (vendor reply)
- LimeSpot support (Shihab) pointed us to https://limespot.com/shopify for Turbo and Max pricing. We read the order and revenue sliders from that page's published tiers.
- Turbo above 250 orders is now public: medium store (1,000 orders) is Turbo $149.99/mo instead of Max $225/mo. Large store (4,000 orders / $300k revenue) stays on Max at $525/mo because Turbo would be $649.99.
- Estimates now pick the cheaper of Turbo (by orders) and Max (by revenue) for each store size. List prices still ignore the 50% lifetime new-signup offer.
2026-10-19: Weekly re-check: no price changes in either category
- Re-read the official pricing pages (and Shopify App Store listings where we use them) for all 13 support apps and all 11 search & recommendation apps. Every price, plan allowance and usage rate matched what we recorded on 18 Oct, so no cost estimates changed.
- Noted: LimeSpot's pricing page is advertising a 50% lifetime discount for new sign-ups. We still show list prices.
- Still the case: Boost AI Search & Filter and Rebuy show 'not currently available' on the Shopify App Store from our location, and Boost's pricing page ($239 Convert / $399 Accelerate) still differs from its help centre example ($299 / $699).
2026-10-19: Re:amaze: Starter plan confirmed without AI
- Re:amaze support confirmed the flat $59 Starter plan doesn't include the AI Agent or any AI resolutions. AI resolutions come only with Basic (5/user), Pro (10/user) and Plus (20/user). Estimates were already based on Basic, so no cost figures changed.
2026-10-18: New category: AI search & product recommendation apps (11 apps)
- Recorded official prices for Shopify Search & Discovery (free), Searchanise, Boost AI Search & Discovery, Fast Simon, Doofinder, Algolia, Wiser, LimeSpot, Rebuy, Klevu/Searchspring (Athos Commerce) and Nosto.
- Noted: Boost moved new installs to GMV-based pricing in October 2025. Its pricing page ($239 Convert / $399 Accelerate) and help centre example ($299 Convert / $699 Accelerate) show different figures, so medium and large estimates are 'Not public / check site'.
- Noted: Doofinder's Shopify App Store prices ($61/$186/$436) are higher than its general web prices ($49/$149/$349).
- Noted: Rebuy, Klevu/Athos and Nosto don't publish volume-based prices; Fast Simon and Wiser publish prices only up to 30,000 sessions and 2,000 orders respectively.
2026-10-18: Tracker launched: baseline prices recorded for 13 AI support apps
- Recorded official prices for Gorgias, Tidio (Lyro), Intercom Fin, Zendesk, HubSpot Service Hub, Shopify Inbox, Richpanel, Re:amaze, Freshdesk, Zipchat, Siena AI, Chatty and Helpcenter.
- Noted: Zendesk's Shopify App Store listing still shows Suite Growth ($89/agent) and Suite Enterprise ($150/agent), which weren't on zendesk.com/pricing on this date.
- Noted: Gorgias's pricing page markup contains two price sets. We use the detailed plan data (Basic $60, Pro $360, Advanced $900 monthly).
- Noted: Intercom's Shopify listing shows monthly seat prices ($39/$99/$139) and intercom.com shows annual ($29/$85/$132).
